However, they called Spiderwick their "great-great uncle". That being the case Lucinda was not their aunt. She would actually be a distant cousin to them. Technically she would be a cousin twice removed as she would be first cousin to whichever grandparent of theirs who was the niece or nephew of Arthur Spiderwick.
